West Sussex through the ages.
A special gathering of West Sussex preserved appliances covering some 50 years.On the left of picture is a 1961 Bedford TJ5/HCB Wrt that once served at Steyning.Next we have from 1971 a Dennis DJ/Dennis Wrl in the yellow livery introduced in West Sussex in the late 1960's,this appliance being new the the station at Littlehampton.Next in line is a 1987 Dennis/Carmichael DS Series WrL which when new went to Petworth,and last on the right is a 1995 Dennis F88 'Rapier' WrL (N141 DPX) that served at Worthing.
This photo was taken in 2015 at the 2nd Fire Show to be held at the Rural Life Centre in Tilford,Surrey which is now hoped to become a regular event.
