Fire Engines Photos

The company presumably thought that if they had a fire, it would either break out during the day, or serve to provide enough illumination for the crew to see where they were going - if not also to return to quarters.

Speaking of whom, it looks like they had four chiefs and three indians - perhaps a bit top-heavy though...
