Here is a 2001 HME (Chaisis) with a Darley 1000gpm pump, 500gwt, and 10 gal Compressed Air Foam System (CAFS) equipped with for wheel drive (4x4)from the Gerritsen Beach Vol FD in Brooklyn NY seen at the 2016 Rockaway St Patrick's Day parade. The first photo shows a local re-hydration facility broken from its foundation by the storm surge of Hurricane Sandy (Oct 28, 2012) and blown across the entire width of Jamaica Bay until it landed in Brooklyn.

Not often seen. A volunteer fire department's pumper located right inside FDNY territory! The Rockaway peninsular is a very long and extremely narrow sand bar south of JFK airport - and it has its own VFD because access for nearby FDNY units is very restricted.

It was the scene of a major conflagration after Hurricane Sandy, because reinforcing units could not access the fires due to flooding - and many pieces of FDNY equipment were destroyed.
