Minor detail - this ladder is a "rundhauber" (round nose) not an "eckhauber" (square nose). The earlier 1951 air cooled normal control Magiruses had the round nose - because they had no radiator. The square nose was introduced two years later, to look more modern and provide a more rugged appearance. The rest of the cab remained unchanged, and could be supplied as a two door or four door, with an additional extra long version - available only on pumpers - to seat nine.
Luxembourg has 25 fire stations and operates nineteen aerial trucks, which is quite a large fleet for a community with 578, 000 inhabitants - six more than metropolitan London!
