This is ex Filton airfield.
When new it was red but was re-painted after the two
ex Moreton 4x4 appliances arrived.

Bob what happened to the crews at Filton? I spent many happy hours watching the old Blackburn Beverlys coming in to Filton for servicing and Chipmonks flying round etc never to be seen again, thanks for answering my last question

There is still a fire crew at Filton, but only for the works site. Obviously not as many staff as there used to be, or as many vehicles. Very sad to see when passing by.
