Los Angeles Fire Department - Truck 61

Truck 61 is a 1998 LTI 100 foot aerial (pre ALF) pulled by a Simon Duplex chassis. Like San Francisco, Los Angeles Fire Department only operates Tractor Drawn Aerials operating with a crew of 5. The LAFD employs 3500 uniformed personnel who operate from 105 stations. In addition to conventional fire apparatus, the department also operates 6 helicopters and 5 fireboats.
