Chilean fire services have lots of Renault Camiva appliances for some reason, but the rest of their fleets are almost all American units. Seen together like this, they do make for an "odd couple".

Chile has only unpaid volunteer fire companies, which is very unusual for a country with nearly 18 million citizens, including Santiago with over five million and several other large cities.
