Well credit it to you as its always immaculate when I have seen it.Was this the one that Saltburn turned over at an RTA ? as I have some photos of that incident somewhere. This was a strange day in Saltburn as at the same time of this RTA lifeboats were searching the shoreline for two fishermen from an overturned Skinningrove boat who sadly drowned.

Thank you . Yes this is the one that they put on its side , it was given a new cab and the body repaired and put back on the run .I would love to see the other photos if you can find them .
Date of incident was 29th July 1986, orange lorry hanging over edge was indeed a DAF artic. Recovery lorry is the blue and white truck behind fire engine , I have vague memories that it was a Saviem 8 wheeler, they shared the MAN cab design.

It was a Leyland Recovery Truck.. I will get more information on this as it was used by Cleveland Fire to be on call to go out and bring in Wagons (Fire Engines) that had broken down while on operational duties
