Actually a 17 ton MAN chassis and power train, with a cab from the VW LT, which not surprisingly looks a bit shrunken on this size truck, as it was originally designed for a much smaller vehicle! The VW brand has been so successful (in Brazil especially) over so many years that even the group’s heaviest trucks, built by MAN, are marketed as VWs. A far cry from the original Beetle!
