Ron that is a surprise, in my home borough of Newham. My office is next to the Royal Albert dock. It looks a bit different these days! There was an 6pump fire at Millennium Mill only 2 weeks ago which I could see from my office. The mills are being converted into flats, and the demolition contractors were using cutting gear I suspect. These sheds may well be on the site of the Excel centre these days. Thanks.

I have watched with much sadness the decline of the Royal Docks. I once walked there from Kings Cross, all the way to Silvertown going around the docks. I recall a load of Green Goddesses in the Royal Victoria awaiting shipment to Cyprus in 1971. That last comment should have said FSPG not FSNMT. I have several other photos from that day if you want them including the F12 from Harringay Volunteers.
