This is a standard German specification TLF 16/25 water tender with 1600 LPM pump and 2500 liter tank, but it was built on a military specification Magirus "Eckhauber" 4X4 chassis.
Note the roof hatch on the cab - a common feature on this more capable off-road 4X4 chassis developed primarily for military use.
Unlike this example, most 4X4 Magirus water tenders on civilian chassis usually had the same factory four door crew cab as their pump appliances, in six rather than nine seat capacity.
German fire companies with challenging off road conditions in their response areas bought units on this chassis, or similar military off-road chassis built by either Mercedes or MAN...
