What does Cleveland do differently that allows them to operate this type of vehicle successfuly when other brigades have disposed of them?

Know their limitations ?

Expanding on this a bit my local retained station Saltburn has one of these as sole appliance so it is increasing their capabilty , not reducing manning. Saltburn has some very tall seafront buildings hence it was the last Cleveland station to lose its wheeled escape so a CARP should be useful. I wonder if the bugs have been ironed out ? Maybe on a quieter station there are not so many problems.

The other one is now at Stockton
