Volvo FL6 G935XFT Tyne and Wear Fire Brigade

A fire on Sandgate Newcastle Quayside in 1990. I was working there at the time and saw a lot of fires in derelict buildings. This area is luxury flats and hotels now. Sorry about grainy pic but I had a poor camera at the time.

I was taught the best way to carry your helmet on the fireground is on your head ... no exceptions, Divisional Officer or not!
