1964 Ford C-1000 Wesco pumper
Custom designed for Happy Valley Fire District in Oregon by my father, William Beutler. Features include automatic transmission, air brakes, fully compartmentized body, all discharges and suctions out the front and rear, electric over air operated valves, hinged tread plate hose bed covers, foam system, PTO winch, PTO aux pump, 110V generator and enclosed speedlays. Originally there were two identical trucks, but they were destroyed when one rear ended the other in 1968. The undamaged portions were combined to make one vehicle. I restored the pumper to original condition, completed in 2012.
