1913 Merryweather
This is the ex-Bass Brewery 1913 Merryweather. It is fitted with a 4 cylinder Aster engine driving through a rear mounted gearbox with chain drive to the rear wheels. It served at the Brewery until the early sixties and was then sent for scrap. Fortunately it was rescued by the late Michael Banfield and was restored by him to the wonderful condition it is in today.
It is fitted with a Type 3 Merryweather Hatfield pump...and here is the problem. I need to re-commission the pump, but I do not have any information relating to the correct oiling regime. Does anyone have a manual or any technical information that can help me?

Although it is one of only two examples of British-built fire engines there, this one never actually saw service in Britain but was exported to a South American fire brigade.
