Based on a 1992 Toyota Hilux, this smokechaser was new to the Waitaki District Council and based in Oamaru. However it now forms part of the South Canterbury Rural Fire District and was photographed at Cave in July 2014.

This Toyota was new to Waimate District Council , used in forestry for about 36, 000km.I helped build this smokechaser up. was sold to South Canterbury Rural Fire District for $12.000 about 2006.
