Something I believe to be a pretty rare sight on the internet, a fire appliance in DPRK! Taken August 2013.
A recent delivery/gift (May 2014) was made by Russia of a quite substantial number of vehicles similar to this.
On a side note, in a recent apartment building collapse in Pyongyang, one of the officially approved photos features a vehicle like this.

We had some Kamaz garbage trucks in Kuwait when I lived there, and they were indeed garbage trucks in every sense of the word!
Most Russian fire trucks were always built on military chassis, which seemed to last forever, but it seems the quality standards on these newer civilian vehicles are not as rigorous...
