Fire Engines Photos

This design dates back to the early 1980s, making this pumper around 30 years old. For a truck of such vintage, it is in remarkably good shape, and let's hope it now enjoys a quiet life in this small community. It has earned it!

Argentina has large numbers of volunteer fire companies, and most have to rely on used units because of budget constraints. This makes the country a very interesting place for fire engine enthusiasts, because there is an enormous fleet of very diverse trucks from almost every country in the World - and from almost every year you can think of!

Mr. Rob Johnson thank you very much for your comment. It is exactly as you say. In Argentina the vast majority of fire services are provided by volunteer fire departments. Since the mid 90's there has been a constant arrival of fire engines used mainly from Europe and the U.S., making a rare mix to find elsewhere.
Mr. Editor, excuse me, but "country" is Argentina.
