LFB Temp E41

This is the Tempary London Fire Brigade Fire Station at Orpington (E41), seen on 20/04/2014, it's at the rear of the old station. A modern two bay station is being built on the site of the old one bay station. Be intrested to see where the second appliance comes from as Orpington's always been one Pump!

Orpington is also home to one of London's HVPUs which was housed in a garage out the back. It's currently being stored elsewhere while the build takes place and will then be based in the second bay in the new station.

Orpington HVP is at Beckenham at present , also E412 Pump is located at Beckenham until new station is finished.
E412 is Ex Downham DPL.1221 AE07 HVT.

Can confirm as of 26/12/2014 that E41 Orpington's Pump is running out of E43 Beckenham, and will be moving, along with the crews into the new E41 Orpington Fire Station, as and when it opens. This will make Orpington a Two pump station, Pump Ladder, (which is running out of the Temp Station at preasent), and the Pump being moved from Beckenham.
