When photographed in the summer of 2012, Thunder Bay, Ontario Pumper/Rescue 1 operated with this 2002 Superior E-1 Cyclone II and has a 1050 GPM pump and carries 500 gallons of water.

This has an enclosed pump operator control panel inside the rear of the cab.

This gives the operator a heated or air conditioned workplace, and keeps him or her out of the traffic...

It is an expensive configuration, and relatively rare because of its extra cost.
