1960 Bedford RL - Airport Fire Tender

This immaculate 4x4 RL was used at Oxford (Kidlington) Airport and was seen at the Lamport Steam Rally, Northamptonshire, England in May 2003.
I did not record the body builder or other history of the appliance, but maybe a viewer can list some further detail.

Most likely HCB/Angus...we had a similar machine at Teesside Airport...The Ministry of Transport & Civil Aviation/Board of Trade FS had quite a few although had moor rear bodywork than this one

Barrie,
Many thanks for taking the time to post a reply regarding the body builder.
I wonder if there are any other preserved examples.

Gents, I believe this was built by FIRE ARMOUR, and is probably a one off design.

I thought Fire Armour was either an Angus brand or was bought by Angus, and then that HCB and Angus merged into HCB-Angus?

I understood it was Pyrene!

Rally programmes say it is Fire Armour acc to Malcolm Batten.
