Another training rig in July,1992 was this rebodied 1971 Ford/Ward LaFrance 750/500 engine. Because of premature rust problems on the bodies of many of the 1970's Ford engines from both WLF and ALF,the units were sent to Young for fiberglass bodies in 1980.

Totally practical enclosed crew cab, but it gets zero points for any effort towards styling it to marry up with the tilting Ford driver's cab! The white stripe helps a bit, but not quite enough.....
