Pierce Quantum 105 Foot HD Aerial Ladder (front)
One of the busiest fire apparatus in the state of Delaware is this Ladder Truck operated by the Elsmere Volunteer Fire Company. This rig boasts and 7 man cab, bunper mounted Federal Q siren, along with twin airhorns. (Drivers are very happy to give way to this rig)
Elsmere operates this Pierce as a conventional Ladder Company. There is no pump or hose, but plenty of room for rescue tools and a section for RIT or FAST Team tools. It was placed in service in 2002 at a cost of nearly $800,000 USD.
