The first time I encountered the lads from the original old "Ten House" was when they crossed the street to investigate an AFA from the World Trade Center, just as we were entering the tower to dine at Windows on the World in 1978.

When we lived on Long Island, we always brought visitors there. The food was great and the views were amazing!

Inevitably, E10 and L10 suffered huge losses on 9/11, which resulted in the deaths of a total of 343 FDNY brothers.
