Gezamenlijke brandweer DAF Combination Unit

This is the so called combination unit from the Unified Industrial/Harbour Fire department. It's a 2007 DAF CF 75.360PC400 and was built by Cito-Somati-Godiva. Pump capacity : 6000 l/m low pressure, 240 l/m high pressure, Watertank : 1500 litres and 1350 litres of foam concentrate.

Question: Are the Brandweer a nationally provided service, like the Italian Fire Service, or is firefighting the responsibility of each municipality or town?

The Fire fighting is a responsibility of the Towns. But slowly these tasks are transferred to Regional fire departments. But it's a long way to go........So until this is organised we will be years away from now ;-)
