Thurs 07Nov2013 Dangar Island, Hornsby/Ku-Ring-Gai Rural Fire Service. Fire Boat Yamaha 115 Outboard and Monitor on the Bow. This Island has a population of 112 souls, 60+ are Rural Firefighters.They have an unknown type "road unit"for the tracks, no metalled roads and this very tidy Fireboat. Most dwelling are within 100mtrs of the shoreline. It is believed this is the only NSW Rural service equipped with two units.
