This is Gloucestershire's new Special Incident Support Unit. Photo taken at show in Birmingham,this appliance will be going on the run next week (11/11/13). Based at Gloucester North close to the M5. It will be the only Special Rescue unit in the County now.

Are twelve blue lights going to be enough, or are UK fire services going the way of many American fire departments in just adding warning lights wherever there is space?

BTW the record number of forward facing and roof warning lights on any US rig I have come across was actually no less than twenty two, so we still have a way to go!
