Newcastle major pumpTaken 1969 at Newcastle's biggest post war fire which was in a department store about quarter of a mile through that bridge in the background. The engine is an AEC Mercury Merryweather Marquis from the West End fire station.

Glasgow Fire Service had a number of AEC Marquis pumps and a couple of AEC Mercury pumps. They looked substantially different from each other and in Glasgow this would have been a 'Marquis'.
Is it correct to call this a Mercury and a Marquis?
