Marcel,
I would suggest that the base vehicle is an M54.
The M54 was a 4.5 Tonne capacity military truck which was manufactured in the 1950's and early 60's by several companies including Diamond T, International Harvester, Kaiser Jeep and Mack.

Looking more carefully at the image I was wondering what purpose the platform fitted to the front serves.
It looks like it may be fitted with some form of monitor but I'm not quite sure.
Maybe a viewer in the USA can comment.

Steve.It is not a monitor on the platform.Take a closer look, and you will see a hose on the right side.The platform was used by 2 firefighters at a brush/grassfire.

A pump was mounted in the middle of that platform, running off a power takeoff on the front of the engine. It seems to have been removed.
