The aerial truck in Kecskemet, Hungary when I photographed it in 2010 was this 42 M Bronto mounted on a Renault chassis.

As you noticed, Renaults are quite popular with Hungarian fire services - but there are not very many to be found in fire service applications anywhere else in Europe, except of course in France.

For some reason, though, they are very popular with fire companies in Chile...
