This bodywork is a simple standard utility body, with three side lockers and a rear-entrance van body. These are manufactured in great numbers by several local companies and are often mounted by Ford dealers "off the shelf" at the dealership.

They are widely used by tradesmen and utility companies, and are a very inexpensive way of outfitting a small fire service rescue or special-purpose tender like this one. Within the limitations of weight and space, they can of course be used to carry virtually any kind of equipment, but are perhaps most often used as a light rescue truck.
