Does this have any actual firefighting role?

It's a Fox electric vehicle which is part of the Community Vehicles fleet for events etc. Used to give kids fire engine rides. has LED lights front and rear and yelp and wail sirens. The ladder appears just for effect but it does have a hose reel and water tank.

Seems like a rather expensive toy in these days of fire service cutbacks, station closings and manning reductions.

Why not use a full size appliance which is due to be replaced?
