Mack 4x4 airport crash tender

Photo taken 31 August at the Wanaka toy and transport museum, New Zealand. This was last in service at Queenstown airport. These along with the 6x6 version were used at most airports around New Zealand.

I always liked the Macks used in New Zealand, but never saw this example before.Very few fire apparatus in the US had this type of cab.Thanks for posting, would anyone have a photo of the 6x6 version?

I worked with this mack. Colour scheme is from Austral/armourguard, wellington Airport. It was then at Hawkes Bay Airport 190? 2002. then to queenstown.
