In 2000 the city of Best bought this DAF FFG2505DHS505 aerial appliance from the Dutch city Tiel. In 1983 it was bought new by this city. The aerial boom is from the firm Comet.

Unusual low profile DAF chassis, to accommodate the height of the Comet boom. Possibly a one-off, but certainly a very limited production chassis.
