Hi Bob, I have this on my Bedford register as Hatfield and listed as an FT. It appears that it was new to Hawker in 1959. Mind you knowing my notes somebody will kindly add some more information.

The Bedford RL, Miles bodywork was a WrC (1000gals) and went to BAe Brough. The bell was removed and a orange beacon fitted also blue flashers fitted on panel above headlights. I have a photo of it (not my copyright) at Paull Airfield as Crash 2. The 1965 Thornycroft Nubian 6x6/Foamite registration is LNK888C, I heard it may have gone to Leavesden. I have gained this information as I was an Aerodrome Fireman at BAe Hatfield 1980-86.

The Thornycroft was at Carlisle Airport at some time.
