Please have you any idea what the unit behind the Bedford is please. Is it a Fire Fighting vehicle ? Thanks

Hi Ian the vehicle behind is an old air transportable aircraft refueler. This was used by the training instructors to lay contaminated aircraft fuel for the hot fires. Health and safety hadn't got round to banning its use in the 80's.

Thanks Des. Thought it might be early Thornycroft Engine. My Father was a Fire Fighter before Health and Safety he had fuel and acid burns to prove it!!!
Cheers

We have TWO GREAT ideas.

1- Paint our fire engine a dirty matte camouflage green, so none of our enemies can see it.

2- Stick some bright yellow tape everywhere on it, so we can see it.

Now do we get our medal?
