New Zealand Dennis AFK169This was the first ex UK appliance purchased for the New Zealand Fire Service. Built in 1991 by John Dennis it originally served at Yelverton for Devon Fire & Rescue. On arrival in New Zealand it went to New Brighton before travelling the country. Due to retire on more than one occasion it kept being reallocated ending up at Ruatoria. Finally deemed surplus to requirements it was transferred to the Fire Service Historical Society and now forms part of the Ferrymead collection. It was photographed in April 2013, the day it arrived at the museum.
