New Zealand Scania Fraser CAY428

This 2004 Fraser built Scania 124GB is unique in the New Zealand Fire Service. It is fitted with a 15m snozzle boom that was originally part of an International 2150B heavy foam tender operated by the Marsden Point Oil Refinery industrial brigade. Originally allocated to Petone it now operates from Seaview - this area is home to the majority of bulk fuel storage for the Wellington area. It was photographed in March 2013.
