New Zealand Ford FS9018

Ford with the D series and Bedford with the TK represented the mainstay of New Zealand volunteer brigades for quite some time during the 1960s and 70s. This 1972 D600 was completed by Wormald and served a large number of brigades around Canterbury. It was restored back in 2008 in time for the New Brighton brigade jubilee and now forms part of the Ferrymead museum collection. It was photographed at Kirwee in March 2013.

Neat styling job - the nicely integrated canopy cab reminds me of the D series' big brother, the US Ford C series.
