This is a 2009 Isuzu NPS400 and was one of the last of 36 virtually identical appliances built for various NZ rural fire authorities by AAA Engineering in Australia. This example is the sole vehicle of its type operated in the South Canterbury Rural Fire District and is based at Burkes Pass. It was photographed in Timaru in March 2013 prior to appearing at a rural fire open day.
