Its a 1963 F107 built for London Fire Brigade on a shortened chassis originally intended for a demonstrator turntable ladder. Has an AEC engine and owned and driven by Steve Gray.
If you look at picture 32036 you can see there is a full height locker located in the centre of the rear platform. The roof line is styled up to the same height. I suspect it also helped provide a small amount of cover to other equipment stowed on the open rear work area.
