Closed Findon Station West Sussex
Two years after it closed Findon Fire station in West Sussex as seen on April 1st 2013 (Station 04 closed on March 31st 2011). The "for sale" signs have disappeared in the last month, foliage has been cut back, and green security fencing has replaced the old wooden fence, plus a security gate has been fitted accross the old entrance to the drill yard. No clue as to future use, and West Sussex County Council folders are still visible in the old watch room. The drill yard tower was quickly removed in 2011 and re-used at Hurstpierpoint. Can anyone enlighten me as to what the future holds for this fine old station?
