Most German volunteer fire companies have a van like this at many of their stations. As well as general purpose runabouts, these are used to bring members to incidents who show up too late to man the first responding appliance(s). Many are nine seaters, like this Transit.

Other popular makes include Opel, Mercedes, VW and Iveco as well as Ford.
