Goodness what a surprise to see a little DAF built like this! These were very small cars, so seeing it here described as a truck made me smile. They must of uprated the springs to cope with the weight. I wonder if it had the variomatic transmission too? Clever design, but often called an elastic band drive!

The Daf 33 combi as a van had a heavier suspension then the Daf 33 car, so it could carry the pump and ladders. And yes this one had a variomatic drive belt as well
