Pleasantview IL Truck 1519 Pierce
This Pierce ladder had recently go on the run with Pleasantview Fire Department, Illinous. It arrived on station in July 2012 and went on the run in September 2012. It's a very impressive appliance. Photo taken 19.11.2012.

What we do know is that Pleasantville - with population of 1, 481 citizens - does not operate 1, 519 fire trucks. There is some other explanation for this unit's fleet number...
It may have to to with Americans' love of large numbers?
