i like this type of appliance the Water Pump Hydraulic Platform (WPHP). When do SCDF de-commissioned this WPHP?

The Shelvoke chassis was more common as a Hydraulic Platform Ladder Type especially in the UK.

There were two.
1 - The long wheelbase 17 ton chassis was indeed used for aerials, including a fair number of remounted old Merryweathers originally built on AEC chassis.
2 - The short wheelbase 14 tonner, used for dual purpose and water tender appliances. This was far more common, and included two very large multiple orders for London, among others.
Shelvoke was not ultimately successful despite very competitive pricing, due to quality and design shortcomings. After a decade it was bought by Dennis - which it had ironically challenged with its introduction of fire appliance chassis in the very beginning, because Shelvoke was beating them in their important bin wagon business.
So tit for tat became a case of tat for tit!
