This truck was used here around 1963, apparently it's a german truck.
the curious thing is that although it has been used in Brazil, the only thing in Portuguese on this truck,it's the information about "bombeiros" telephone number.

It is a standard German DIN specification LF16 pumper - 1600 LPM pump and nine-man crew cab.

This was most probably imported in to Brazil from Germany after it had been operated for some years by a fire department in Germany.

Several south American fire departments have made a practice of buying used European and US fire trucks, and very often the existing paintwork and lettering are left in place.
