I inherited the job of selling DAF cars in Britain for a while, after Volvo bought the company and until their production was discontinued two years later and the Volvo 340 was introduced.
The 46 model had an 850 cc engine and was awfully slow - a bit like a Dutch Trabant! It simply amazes me that anybody would install a water tank this size on a poor little DAF 46!
No surprise this in on a trailer; I suspect this may have been the turnout practice too...
