Preserved Fire Appliances in Glasgow.

An impressive line up of preserved fire belonging to the Scottish Fire Heritage Group, on show in Glasgow's George Square as part of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Celebrations on 4th July. Left to right - 1989 Scania Water Tender Ladder ex Strathclyde Fire Brigade. 1958 Dennis F8 ex Western Area Fire Brigade and in keeping with the Diamond Jubilee theme, a 1952 Commer Miles Water Tender ex North Eastern Fire Brigade.

There was a lovely small karrier fire engine based at knightswood fire station in the sixties I wonder if it was preserved?
