This 68 tonner is big even by most European fire service standards. Much more common are Faun or Liebherr 40 tonne cranes on three axles.

These are very widespread in Northern and Central Europe, but for some reason much less common in Southern Europe.

Although they crop up in Japan, they are unheard of in most other countries, including both the UK and USA.
